Renault Dokker Van is a front-wheel drive van of the compact category, designed for "delivery" operations in urban areas and beyond ...

The car made its debut in May 2012 at an international bride show in Casablanca, and in June it became available to buyers ... At the beginning of 2017, the five-door underwent a slight "facelift" and received slight interior adjustments, and by the end of the year it entered the Russian market.

Externally, Renault Dokker Van looks attractive and modern, but simpler than its cargo-passenger "brother" - its distinctive features are deaf sidewalls and unpainted bumpers.

Freight "Docker" has the following dimensions: 4363 mm in length, 1852 mm in height and 1751 mm in width. The wheelbase of the car is 2810 mm, and the ground clearance does not exceed 153 mm.

The curb weight of the van varies from 1152 to 1205 kg, depending on the modification, and its carrying capacity is 600 kg.

In the front part, the Renault Dokker Van salon does not differ from that of a compact van - a pretty design, well-thought-out ergonomics, simple finishing materials and two seats with a comfortable profile.

Well, behind the riders there is a partition that separates the "living" cabin from the luggage space.

The standard cargo compartment is capable of accommodating 3300 liters of luggage, and the length of the transported items in this case can reach 1.9 meters. But this is not the limit: the passenger seat is dismantled, thereby increasing the usable volume up to 3900 liters, and the loading length up to 3.1 meters.

Specifications. Under the hood of the Renault Dokker Van, the same units are installed as on the compact van:

  • The gasoline range includes atmospheric and turbocharged "fours" with a volume of 1.2-1.6 liters with distributed injection and variable valve timing, developing 85-115 horsepower and 134-190 Nm of torque.
  • The diesel part consists of 1.5-liter four-cylinder direct injection turbo engines with 8-valve timing, producing 75-90 hp. and 180-200 Nm of peak thrust.

The motors work in conjunction with manual transmissions (5- or 6-speed), which send all the potential to the wheels of the front axle.

In terms of agility and fuel efficiency, the "heel" repeats the cargo-passenger model.

Structurally, the Renault Dokker Van does not differ from the compact van - it is based on the front-wheel drive architecture "M0" with independent MacPherson struts at the front and semi-independent suspension with a torsion bar at the rear.
The van is equipped with rack and pinion steering with hydraulic booster, as well as a braking system with ventilated discs on the front and "drums" on the rear axle.

Options and prices. In Russia, Renault Dokker Van 2017-2018 is sold in the "Access" and "Business" trim levels, and is equipped with only two engines - an 85-horsepower petrol and 90-horsepower diesel.
