At the stands of the Moscow International Motor Show at the end of August 2016, the official show of the VIP version of the Lada Vesta sedan under the name "Signature" took place, which was first declassified on the Web back in October 2015, and in May 2016 entered the Samara government for operational tests. area.

The car, the main feature of which was the body extended by 250 mm, was assembled for individual orders - which makes it a truly exclusive product.

It is almost impossible to identify the Lada Vesta Signature from the front, and from the back it is given only by the nameplate with the version designation.

But in profile, the differences are more obvious - the car demonstrates an enlarged rear door opening and distance between the axles and 17-inch wheel rims of the original design, which makes it look even more harmonious and complete than the standard model.

The long-wheelbase version of "Vesta" is noticeably larger than the usual "brother": the length of the three-volume is 4660 mm, and the gap between the pairs of wheels has 2885 mm. The width and height of the vehicle are 1764 mm and 1497 mm, respectively.

In the interior, Lada Vesta Signature repeats the basic “brother” in architecture and design, and its distinctive features are premium trim: the front panel has chrome inserts, seats and many interior elements are sheathed in genuine leather, and the ceiling is covered in Alcantara.

The main "highlight" of the car is the organization of the rear seats: there are two comfortable seats, which are separated by a massive armrest console. For VIP passengers, heating, USB connectors, cup holders and an additional ceiling light are provided.

The luggage compartment of the "stretched" three-volume is exactly the same as that of the standard model - its volume is 480 liters. True, the back of the rear sofa is awkward here, so you can forget about transporting long items.

Specifications. The Lada Vesta Signature is armed with an engine with "a set of engineering solutions designed to reduce vibrations and mechanical losses" - in the engine compartment of the first sedans there is an atmospheric 1.8-liter "four" with a 16-valve timing scheme, distributed injection and an electronic variable valve timing mechanism, issuing 122 "horses" and 170 Nm of peak traction (in the future, a more productive version was supposed).

A 5-speed "robotic" gearbox and a front-wheel drive transmission work in the storage compartment with the motor.

Fuel consumption and speed capabilities of the sedan were not disclosed.

"Vesta" in "VIP-version" is built on a stretched chassis of the standard model with an independent "walker" McPherson type in front and a semi-independent layout with a torsion beam at the rear (however, due to the increased weight, the rear suspension has been seriously modified).
As standard, the car is equipped with ventilated brake discs at the front and "drums" at the rear, as well as an electric power steering.

Options and prices. The "price tag" on the Lada Vesta Signature was not "hung", because the car was planned to be assembled only for individual orders - the cost was also individual (~ from one million rubles).

For this modification, a rich list of equipment was offered: a two-zone "climate", heated front and rear seats, wheel rims with a diameter of 17 inches, an entertainment and information complex and an audio system of famous brands, leather interior trim and much more.
